Paderewski Society Home

In 1988 a group of Polish Organizations in the Niagara Region banded together to build a home for Niagara residents of Polish descent.

Thanks to their efforts Paderewski Society Home, a non-profit organization opened its doors in April 1991.

The building is comprised of 70 apartments. There are 61 one-bedroom units and 9 two-bedroom units. Included in the total units are 5 modified accessible units.

Paderewski Society Home provides quality rental accommodations and is a Senior Independent Living residence with tenants who are aged 55 years and above. Our building has a state-of-the-art surveillance system to ensure the safety and security of all tenants.

Paderewski Society Home does offer both market rentals as well as Rent Geared to Income Assistance units. All applicants must complete a Niagara Regional Housing Application and be approved to be placed on our centralized waitlist.

Paderewski Society Home is centrally located near parks, shopping malls, churches, restaurants, recreation and a library. City transportation is also close by for tenants.

While providing an affordable place to live, our continued mission is providing balance between privacy and independence as well as helping seniors live actively in a safe, clean and pleasant environment. Our mission includes respecting and recognizing the diverse cultural values and beliefs as well as the residents right to independence.

Paderewski Society Home is governed by an exterior Board of Directors. They are committed volunteers and with Housing Services and office staff work together to ensure that successful community programs are created for the benefit of seniors.
